In reality, the planet&#8217;s atmosphere is an ever-changing scene of high-speed winds and evolving weather patterns, punctuated by occasional large storms (see PIA14901). The rings, consist of countless icy particles, which are continually colliding. Such collisions play a key role in the rings&#8217; numerous waves and wakes, which are the manifestation of the subtle influence of Saturn&#8217;s moons and, indeed, the planet itself.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">NASA\u306e\u571f\u661f\u63a2\u67fb\u6a5f\u30ab\u30c3\u30b7\u30fc\u30cb\u304b\u3089\u306f\u3001\u571f\u661f\u306f\u9759\u304b\u306a\u74b0\u306e\u4e2d\u306b\u3042\u308b\u9759\u8b10\u306a\u5929\u4f53\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306b\u898b\u3048\u307e\u3059\u3002\u3068\u3053\u308d\u304c\u73fe\u5b9f\u3067\u306f\u3001\u571f\u661f\u306e\u5927\u6c17\u306f\u9ad8\u901f\u3067\u5439\u304d\u3059\u3055\u3076\u98a8\u3068\u6642\u3068\u3057\u3066\uff08PIA14901\u3092\u53c2\u7167\uff09\u306b\u898b\u3089\u308c\u308b\u3088\u3046\u306a\u5de8\u5927\u306a\u5d50\u306b\u3088\u308a\u3001\u523b\u3005\u3068\u5909\u5316\u3059\u308b\u5e2f\u306e\u3088\u3046\u306a\u6c17\u8c61\u5909\u52d5\u3092\u3057\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\u7121\u6570\u306e\u6c37\u306e\u7c92\u5b50\u3067\u3067\u304d\u305f\u74b0\u3067\u306f\u3001\u5e38\u306b\u885d\u7a81\u304c\u7e70\u308a\u8fd4\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\u305d\u306e\u885d\u7a81\u306f\u3001\u571f\u661f\u306e\u74b0\u306e\u6ce2\u3092\u5f15\u304d\u8d77\u3053\u3059\u4e3b\u8981\u306a\u539f\u56e0\u3067\u3042\u308b\u3068\u540c\u6642\u306b\u3001\u571f\u661f\u306e\u885b\u661f\u3084\u571f\u661f\u672c\u4f53\u306b\u3082\u5fae\u5999\u306a\u5f71\u97ff\u3092\u4e0e\u3048\u308b\u3082\u306e\u306a\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The long duration of the Cassini mission has allowed scientists to study how the atmosphere and rings of Saturn change over time, providing much-needed insights into this active planetary system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u30ab\u30c3\u30b7\u30fc\u30cb\u306e\u30df\u30c3\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u304c\u9577\u671f\u306b\u308f\u305f\u308b\u3053\u3068\u3067\u3001\u79d1\u5b66\u8005\u305f\u3061\u306f\u571f\u661f\u306e\u5927\u6c17\u3068\u571f\u661f\u306e\u74b0\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u3058\u3063\u304f\u308a\u7814\u7a76\u3067\u304d\u308b\u306e\u3067\u3001\u571f\u661f\u306e\u52d5\u7684\u306a\u5929\u4f53\u7cfb\u306e\u5185\u90e8\u306b\u3064\u3044\u3066\u5341\u5206\u306a\u63a2\u67fb\u3092\u884c\u306a\u3046\u3053\u3068\u304c\u3067\u304d\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The view looks toward the sunlit side of the rings from about 41 degrees above the ring plane. The image was taken with the Cassini spacecraft wide-angle camera on July 16, 2016 using a spectral filter which preferentially admits wavelengths of near-infrared light centered at 752 nanometers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">\u3053\u306e\u753b\u50cf\u3067\u306f\u3001\u30d3\u30e5\u30fc\u306f\u3001\u571f\u661f\u306e\u74b0\u306e\u592a\u967d\u306b\u7167\u3089\u3055\u308c\u305f\u5074\u306e\u5e73\u9762\u304b\u3089\u7d0441\u00b0\u4e0a\u65b9\u304b\u3089\u64ae\u5f71\u3055\u308c\u305f\u3082\u306e\u3067\u3059\u3002\u753b\u50cf\u306f2016\u5e747\u670816\u65e5\u306b\u30ab\u30c3\u30b7\u30fc\u30cb\u63a2\u67fb\u6a5f\u642d\u8f09\u306e\u5e83\u89d2\u30ab\u30e1\u30e9\u3067752\u30ca\u30ce\u30e1\u30fc\u30c8\u30eb\u3092\u4e2d\u5fc3\u3068\u3057\u305f\u8fd1\u8d64\u5916\u5149\u6ce2\u9577\u306e\u30b9\u30da\u30af\u30c8\u30eb\u30d5\u30a3\u30eb\u30bf\u3092\u4f7f\u7528\u3057\u3066\u64ae\u5f71\u3055\u308c\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The view was acquired at a distance of approximately 1 million miles (2 million kilometers) from Saturn. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a division of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, manages the mission for NASA&#8217;s Science Mission Directorate, Washington. The Cassini orbiter and its two onboard cameras were designed, developed and assembled at JPL.
